Microsoft Defender names a family of security products: Defender for Endpoint (EDR), Defender for Cloud (CSPM + CWPP for Azure, AWS and GCP), Defender for Identity (on-prem AD signals), Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB), and Defender XDR (the unified portal).
DCV scans Defender for Cloud alerts in Azure environments and maps them to MITRE ATT&CK. Defender for Endpoint integrates as a SIEM-side data source rather than a DCV-scanned cloud control.
